 Guild of British Molecatchers Qualified

We are professional Mole catchers in Suffolk.Moles are notoriously difficult to eliminate, most people are aware of the damage they cause, but have never seen one. Damage taking only a short period of time can lead to unsightly earth mounds, which can be hazardous. Degeneration of gardens and pasture land is common.

We aim to provide a fast and friendly service of mole trapping using traditional methods. We use traps to gain fast results, once a site survey has been carried out.We have been ask before to do a catch and release on moles but as moles need to consume about 70% of there body weight in food every day, their ability to survive for any amount of time if captured alive is limited. So to catch a mole alive in a trap would require the trap to be inspected at very regular intervals totally impractical in reality. If you did catch one, what would you do with it? Releasing into another moles territory would cause fighting and unnecessary suffering; releasing where there is no existing tunnel system would put excessive pressure on the Mole to find enough food to survive. In our opinion the "humane" trapping is anything but.

Many people are confused with conflicting advice on mole control and rumours of how to best deal with moles. Those that have tried realise home remedies do not work, giving little or no result. Specialist mole control is a continuous process that requires the right knowledge and time. We offer that specialist knowledge and will be happy to make a site visit.
